1. In order to ensure special protection and protection from adverse external influences around and on the lands of land owners and land users located within the boundaries of state nature reserves, state national nature parks, state nature reserves and state regional nature parks, security zones are established with the prohibition and (or) restriction of any activity within these zones., negatively affecting the condition and restoration of the ecological systems of these specially protected natural territories and the objects of the state nature reserve fund located on them.

2. The sizes, boundaries, types of regime and the order of nature use on the territory of protected areas of state nature reserves, state national nature parks, state natural reserves and state regional nature parks are determined by natural science and feasibility studies for their creation and are established by decisions of local executive bodies of regions, cities of republican significance, the capital in accordance with this Law. and the Land Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the same time, the width of the security zone, which is established along the boundaries of land plots of owners and land users or along natural geographical boundaries and is marked on the ground with special signs, must be at least two kilometers.

Prior to the establishment of a protected zone of specially protected natural territories on a two-kilometer territory along the borders of specially protected natural territories, it is prohibited to adjust urban planning projects, change the purpose of land plots, and coordinate initial and permits for the construction of facilities that have a negative impact on the condition and restoration of ecological systems of specially protected natural territories and objects of the state nature reserve fund located on them..

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 7, 2006 No. 175.

This Law regulates public relations on the creation, expansion, protection, restoration, sustainable use and management of specially protected natural territories and objects of the state nature reserve fund, representing special ecological, scientific, historical, cultural and recreational value, as well as being a component of the national, regional and global ecological network.
